  • Automatic Replication – distributed sites can handle their local storage needs with local appliances, while all data is automatically replicated and synchronized across any cloud architecture for long-term retention and availability across the organization for immediate retrieval.
  • Continuous Protection – Built-in failure-scenario support protects data against sudden hardware failure. Continuous data protection (CDP) automatically catalogues changes to data at a block level, allowing you to restore data to any previous point in time whether data was corrupted by a virus or simply human error.
  • Efficiency – yCenter provides data protection and high-availability capabilities with features integrated into the core of the yCenter platform, rather than requiring separate software packages running on top of various file systems. Management for the entire system is done through a single dashboard interface.
  • Optimized for space and bandwidth – Built-in deduplication (target and host-based) allows for conserving bandwidth and storage when synchronizing between geographically-disparate locations.
